  1. Login to epiCentre
  2. Click EXTRACT on the top bar of epiCentre


  3. Choose the appropriate options for extraction and then click Submit
    1. Folder:  epiCentre has a default extract location of C:\Users\%username%%YourUsername%\Documents\_epiCentre_Extracts, If you'd like a different folder location, you can click on Browse and navigate to a different location
      1. ePPOC recommends you keep the same folder structure, but add on "\2018 Annual Reportin order to place it in a folder of its own
    2. File name: All files extracted are prefixed with this value
      1. ePPOC recommends you leave the value with today's date
    3. Version: This allows use to choose between extracting Version 1 and Version 2 data. Please leave this as Version 2 unless instructed otherwise
    4. Date range: This allows you to limit the data to between two dates.
      1. Please enter the values (STARTDATE) for Start Date and (ENDDATE) for End Date
    5. Extract type: Checking this allows you to include additional fields in the extract. Please leave this unchecked for submission

Submitting Data

through SOS

  1. You should see in front of you the submission platform
  2. Please login to SOS by providing your email address and clicking Sign in
    1. Do not check I am a SOS admin

  3. Choose the appropriate facility for your submission by clicking on the name

  4. Please select the correct files for each submission entry
    1. If you kept the default file structure, they should be at C:\Users\%YourUsername%\Documents\_epiCentre_Extracts\2018 Annual Report
      1. If you've forgotten where you stored the files, you should be able to click Open extract folder in the window still open in epiCentre 
    2. Each file should have the type in it's name (i.e. the patient file will have the word Patient in it, the episode file will have the word Episode, etc)
