epiCentre allows you to both collect and extract data. In a standard extract epiCentre creates 6 files for adult facilities and 8 files for paediatric services.
- Login to epiCentre
- Click EXTRACT on the top bar of epiCentre
- Choose the appropriate options for extraction and then click Extract
- Folder: epiCentre has a default extract location of C:\Users\%YourUsername%\Documents\_epiCentre_Extracts. If you'd like a different folder location, you can click on Browse and navigate to a different location
- ePPOC recommends you keep the same folder structure, but add on "\2019 Annual Report" in order to place it in a folder of its own
- File name: All files extracted are prefixed with this value
- ePPOC recommends you leave the value with today's date
- Version: This allows you to choose between extracting Version 1 and Version 2 data. Please leave this as Version 2 unless instructed otherwise
- Date range: This allows you to limit the data to between two dates
- Please enter the values 1 January 2019 for Start Date and 31 December 2019 for End Date
- Extract type: Checking this allows you to include additional fields in the extract. Please leave this unchecked for submission
