PACOP Profile Collection - Education Resources

Successful implementation of the PACOP Profile Collection requires a whole team approach which is underpinned by education and support. Quality education is essential for quality care, however we acknowledge that ‘time’ for staff working in aged care is precious. Therefore we have created a range of resources to choose from depending on time, some are comprehensive and others have been designed to provide maximum benefit in limited time.

In this section you will find a wide range of educational resources including:

  • comprehensive clinical guides,

  • PowerPoint presentations,

  • single page education resource sheets,

  • clinical scenarios and

  • other in-service resources.

  • The PACOP YouTube Channel also provides a playlist that includes a range of brief education presentations called ‘Clinical Bites’ (all <10 minutes duration).

PACOP Profile Collection - ToolsAssessments

The PACOP Profile Collection tools assessments capture information in one place which helps the clinician understand changes in the resident’s overall physical, cognitive and psycho-social and spiritual well-being, as well as the well-being of the resident’s family and/or primary carer. In this way, the Profile Collection clinical assessments help identify residents who are deteriorating and/or may benefit from palliative care.
