VersionDateChanges and/or FixesThanks To
1.0.001/02/2014
  • Original release of QuickSnap

1.0.125/02/2014
  • Fixed an issue with GEM where classes 3-402 to 3-407 were incorrectly classed as 3-403 to 3-408

  • Fixed an issue where Native Interactive Grouper would not accept age variable (because QuickSnap was always trying derive age from Birth Date, Episode Start Date even when Age had already been supplied)

Oliver Berry, Department of Health WA

1.0.227/02/2014
  • Fixed issue with Overnight Palliative Care where 3-106 was incorrectly classified as 3-105 due to incorrect use of <= where < should have been used.

Oliver Berry, Department of Health WA

1.0.324/03/02014
  • Added a column called 'RecordIdentifier' to the QuickSnap Native Format so that the output file of the batch group for QuickSnap Native Format contained identifiable records

Ting Wong, Global Health

1.0.428/04/2014
  • the Native Interactive Grouper now includes data items for Date of Birth, Start Date, End Date and Leave Days – which enables calculation of ‘Age’ and ‘Length of Stay’.
This change makes the items accepted by the interactive grouper consistent with the items in the QuickSnap DSS File Format.

  • The interpretation of ‘Provider Type’ had a problem where if none of the provider flags were ticked, the system was interpreting the episode as a ‘Multi-disciplinary’ rather than an error class.
After the fix, if no provider flags are ticked, an error ‘Required data item was invalid,Provider Type Flags’ and the episode is grouped with the error class 3-906.

Debra Hinton, NSW Health

2.0.005/06/2015
  • Updated QuickSnap to support AN-SNAP Version 4, with both a Batch and an Interactive Grouper.

2.1.022/10/2015
  • Resolved a bug where in batch grouping, Rehab episodes will inherit the last valid Impairment Code when an Invalid or Missing Impairment Code is encountered
  • Support for AROCv3 Impairment Codes: the full MeTEOR codeset is still supported, along with 'legacy' V3 impairment codes
  • Added the Age Type variable as per the AN-SNAP v4 Manual:
    • Age Type: is the primary determinant of Adult/Paediatric classification for Palliative Care and Rehabilitation:
      • If Age Type = 9 (Not Specified): Age will be used to determine Age Type
      • If Age Type = 1 (Paediatric): Age will be validated, Age must be <= 19
      • If Age Type = 2 (Adult): Age will be validated, Age must be >= 16
    • This change involves the addition of this data item to all file formats
