Administration and timing

The ePPOC protocol collects patient-reported outcome measures at:

• referral
• pathway start (if the referral measures were collected more than 3-6 months ago)
• pathway end
• episode follow-up (collected 3-6 months after the episode end (i.e. the end of the last pathway))

Services may also collect ‘review’ and ‘ad hoc’ outcome assessments if a reassessment of the patient is considered necessary. This may occur, for example, at clinically significant time points (e.g. a multidisciplinary team assessment), throughout long duration treatment pathways or where there has been a significant event or change in a patients’ progress or condition.
