Method 1: Obtaining a copy of the configuration file
If epiCentre has been installed and configured on one computer already, you can follow these instructions for any other computer that needs to be configured.
- You need a copy of the configuration file. You can either obtain this from PCOC or it is saved on the computer you have already saved palCentre on. The config file can be found under C:\palCentre
- Put a copy of this file in the folder C:\palCentre on the computer you are configuring.

Method 1: follow the palCentre Configuration Wizard
- Open palCentre. This will start the configuration wizard
- The following screen will open, click on Yes and then next.
- Click on SQL compact and then locate the pre-configured database. Enter the password 'pcoc'. Click on next.
- Enter the encryption key as per the installation checklist and click on next (usually 12345)
- This screen is not required so please click on next
- palCentre has now been configured correctly. Click on close.
- palCentre will have created a configuration file after this installation process. This file can be found under C:\palCentre\ The file name is palcentre.config
