Setting up the database:
SQL server - this page will walk you through how to complete the database setup on an SQL server. This is the preferred database option.
SQL compact - this page will walk you though how to setup the database on an SQL compact file.

Migrating data:
Migrating the SNAPshot database to palCentre - this step needs to be completed if upgrading SNAPshot to palCentre. It only need to be completed once.
Migrating SQL compact database to SQL server database - this is only required for services that would like to move from SQL compact to SQL server.


Client machine installation (installing on individual computers):
Installing palCentre on a new computer - this will also install all the dependencies at the same time.
Upgrading palCentre on a computer that already has palCentre installed - only palCentre needs to be installed as all the dependencies are already installed.
Upgrading to palCentre from epiCentre for PCOC (pilot version of palCentre) - only needs to be completed once on all client machines.
