Using the batch grouper is very easy.  Here is a simple procedure:

  • Double click the icon 'AHSRI QuickSnap' on your desktop to open QuickSnap
  • Click on the Menu option 'Batch Grouper'
  • A window will appear with the heading 'Batch process SNAP Data'
  • Enter the requested information:
    • File Format: 1 - QuickSnap Native Format, 2 - QuickSnap DSS Comaptible Format
    • Source File: path and filename of the source CSV file (you can click 'Choose' to use a file browser to locate this file)
    • Output File: path and filename of the output file you want to create (again, click 'Choose' to use a file browser to locate the path and enter a file name)
    • Error Log File: path and filename of the error file you want to create
  • Click 'Process'

QuickSnap will attempt to process your file.  If successful it will create the output and error files as requested and will display a message:

  • 'Batch grouping was successfully completed'

Congratulations, that's all you need to know about using the Batch Grouper.
