Section 1 – Data item errors
This section includes errors that indicate an invalid record or variable. The severity of these errors helps to determine what data will be excluded from the report, if not corrected.
Please note that section 1 errors are the most important to fix (more so than any other error). If they are not fixed, then either the records or the variables will be removed from the dataset and this can result in your reports missing data.

Check errors and correct where possible. Identify any systematic issues and determine whether it can be resolved with training or whether it is due to the IT system
