How to test Redcap Connectivity

In this How-To document we will test redcap connectivity.

 Instructions

Follow steps to check connectivity to redcap server:

  1. Login to epiCentre software using admin or manager account.

  2. Click on to Facility tab

  3. Find your current Facility and click on the gear symbol

  4. DO NOT CHANGE TOKENS, simply click the 'Submit' button. This action will prompt epiCentre to establish a connection with the UOW Redcap server. If you do not receive any error messages, your connection to the UOW Redcap server is successful.

  5. If you want to check results from log file click to “About” tab and Click on “Configuration file Location”

  6. Open “epiCentre.log” using text editor, scroll down to bottom. You will see results similar to the screenshot.

Editing TOKENS may result in a connection issue. If you are uncertain, please contact the EPPOC team for assistance.
